Where To Get 75 Rupees Note in Pakistan?
The 75-rupee commemorative note, issued by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) on Aug. 14 to mark Pakistan’s 75th Independence Day, will be available to the public from Sept. 30, the bank said in a statement on Thursday known to the state central bank.
The design of this commemorative banknote was unveiled at a ceremony at SBP’s Karachi headquarters on 14th August 2022.
In a statement, the SBP said the general public will be able to:
“This banknote is legal tender under Section 25 of the SBP Act 1956 and can be used as a medium of exchange for all transactions in Pakistan,” the central bank said.
“This is the second commemorative law issued by the SBP, following the first commemorative law issued to mark the country’s 50th anniversary of independence in 1997.”

“The themes and designs on the front and back of the note were developed by SBP and local artists. The commemorative banknote was designed to honor the leaders who helped establish Pakistan and to raise awareness of climate change and its impact on our environment,” he added.
Accordingly, the front of the note is adorned with the portraits of Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Allama Sir Muhammad Iqbal, Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah and Sir Syed Ahmed Khan, he said.
SBP further explained that the back of the note highlights the country’s national commitment to climate change and its impact on Pakistan, which has gained urgency amid unprecedented casualties caused by recent torrential rains and floods across much of Pakistan.
The images of the national animal Markhor and the national Deodar tree on the reverse also emphasize the danger of extinction of these species and the need to conserve them.
