SBP Finalized The Design Of A 75 Rupee Commemorative Banknote

The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has finalized the design of the 75 rupees commemorative banknote to commemorate the country’s 75th anniversary. Pakistan was founded on August 14, 1947, and will celebrate its 75th anniversary on August 14, 2022.

According to the information, the federal cabinet approved the design of the bills and commissioned the SBP to have the commemorative paper bills printed on-site. The notes are expected to be made available for public use in August 2022.

Previously, special Rs. 5 commemorative banknotes were issued on 13 August 1997 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Pakistan.

The SBP is making a concerted effort to commemorate significant events in Pakistan’s history through the issuance of commemorative coins. It has also issued commemorative coins in honor of famous people and on the occasion of various historical events.
