Families Of Dubai Citizens Can Now Obtain A 3-Month Visit Visa
Families of Dubai residents can now obtain a 90-day visit visa with a refundable deposit of AED 1,000 from the host, UAE-based travel agencies have confirmed.
A travel agent said the total cost of the family visit visa is around AED1770, including the AED1000 deposit and AED770 service charge.
As quoted by the Khaleej Times, a Dubai resident described the whole process as easy and said he had requested a 90-day leave for his mother at the Amer Centre.
The Emirates implemented entry visa reforms under the Advanced Visa System in October 2022. This was one of the most sweeping changes to residence and entry visas in the country.
Subsequently, several new categories were introduced, including visas for jobseekers, business people, study courses and medical treatments, and a tourist visa with a validity of 5 years for multiple entries.
