Everything About The Upgrades Coming To iPhone 14 Leaks
Apple’s new iPhones are just two months away from launch. iPhone 14 series is rumored to be launched in October with 4 models including iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Max, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max.
As the release date approaches, iPhone 14 leaks are becoming more common and specific. The latest comes from LeaksApplePro on Twitter, citing an unnamed source who has spent some time with the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max.
Here’s what they revealed about the iPhone 14 Pro Max and the series in general:
iPhone 14 Design Leak
The new iPhones have been confirmed to have pill-shaped perforations instead of a notch, but these add no functionality to the phone. It’s just there to flatten the notch from last year. Once you use the phone for a while it goes away like most other phones.
The new iPhone 14 Pro Max will still be chunky, not least because of the massive camera setup. The phone will look like a brick and will be awful to use with a MagSafe Duo charger.
Screen And Speakers
There isn’t much detail on the screen, just the quality isn’t that different from the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max. The speakers will improve again with more bass and clearer sound.
While the iPhones have good speakers, there’s certainly room for improvement, especially when you compare them to the Xiaomi 12 or Asus ROG Phone 6, both of which have exceptionally good speakers on board.

Cameras And Battery
The source says the Pro phones will have a new 48MP sensor that is “the best in a smartphone when there’s enough light,” similar to the Xiaomi 12S Ultra. However, the low-light photos still need to be tweaked as they are worse than the iPhone 13 Pro. There is a lot of noise in these photos, but it will likely be fixed before release.
The battery life of the iPhone 14 Pro will improve in a few hours, but it’s not clear yet because there wasn’t enough time to test it properly.
Overall, the iPhone 14 will be a decent improvement over the iPhone 13, but hopefully, low-light photos will improve ahead of release.
