UAE is Simplifying The Visa Process To Make it Easier For Pakistanis, Says Consul General
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) government is continuously simplifying the visa system to facilitate entry for visitors from all over the world, especially in Pakistan.
This was said by the Consul-General of the United Arab Emirates in Karachi Bakhit Atiq Al-Rumiti after touring the Sindh Assembly buildings in the provincial capital.
According to the details, Deputy Speaker of the Sindh Assembly Rehana Leghari gave the UAE Envoy a tour of the two buildings. She informed him about the historical significance of the old building and the modern architecture of the new building.
The UAE envoy expressed his satisfaction at seeing a Vice-President of the Sindh Assembly, adding that the UAE government has also taken various measures to increase women’s representation in governmental and non-governmental organizations.
The Vice President said that Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates have strong bilateral ties and the latter has always supported the former in difficult times.
After the tour, politicians from various political parties in the province called the UAE envoy. He briefed politicians on the establishment of the UAE visa office in Karachi and the state-of-the-art facilities available there. The UAE envoy also urged politicians to visit the visa office.
