Zen Cannon was the son of Nick Cannon. Zen died of a brain tumor.
The presenter of “The Masked Singer” broke the devastating news on Tuesday morning on his talk show of the same name and burst into tears as he described his son’s private health struggle with hydrocephalus, a form of brain cancer.
“I always knew I was coughing so I wanted to check it out,” stated Cannon, 41 (via Entertainment Tonight).
“His breathing was exciting, and when he was two months old I discovered that he also had a rather large head, a cannon head.”
“We didn’t think of it, but I wanted to take her to the doctor about her sinuses and breathing. We thought it was routine.”

His current age was only 5 months.
Zen Cannon Has Died Of Brain Tumor
Cannon and Alyssa Scott welcomed Zen in July. The family learned that Zen, Cannon’s seventh son, had fluid built up in his brain that turned out to be a malignant tumor.
Baby Zen had surgery to place a shunt to drain the fluid. Unfortunately, the baby’s health changed around Thanksgiving, so Cannon flew to Los Angeles to be with Zen and Alyssa.
“This weekend I tried to spend as much time with Zen as possible. We woke up on Sunday and drove to the sea with him and Alyssa, then I had to go back to New York for the show,” he said burst into tears.
“I got a call on the way to the airport to go back to Zen.”
Cannon then tearfully announced that she was holding her son for the last time that weekend.
“You can’t heal until you sit down,” he told the audience, adding that he was at work so soon after because it was used as a distraction.
