Yamaha Issues A 0% Markup Plan For Bikes
Yamaha has again issued a 0% markup plan for its bikes.
According to the information, the company launched this program in partnership with Dubai Islamic Bank. The announcement says the program is limited to specific cities in Pakistan, without naming names.
The offer is for employees only, so there is no 0% bonus plan for small business owners and freelancers.
Although the announcement stated that the offer was available for a limited time, important details such as payment deadline, deposit, and other conditions were omitted.
This announcement followed a series of massive price increases from Yamaha. The last announcement was in February and the most recent has raised the prices of the bikes to Rs.394,500.
In the past year, the company has increased the price of bikes sevenfold. Due to the ongoing economic crisis in Pakistan, dealers and industry experts are forecasting further price increases this year, which will also further reduce bicycle sales.
