UK Thang is identified as a suspected gunman in the Kroger shooting. Authorities said it was a third-party supplier to Kroger.
Collierville Police Chief Dale Lane told a press conference on Friday that a total of 15 people had been shot, including Olivia King, 70, who died of her injuries and is in stable condition.

His current age was 29 years.

The shooting took place in the grocery store at 240 New Byhalia Road on Thursday afternoon.
Police said 13 people were shot, including one fatal. Others were treated for anxiety after the shooting, police said.
Authorities continued to investigate the crime scene at the grocery store and the evidence gathered at UK Thang’s home on Friday.
The grocery store remained closed and counselors were available to workers, Kroger said. Police said there were around 44 workers and an unknown number of customers in the store at the time of the shooting.
Of the 15 injured, 10 were Kroger employees.
Several of the injured remained in critical condition until Friday.
Suspect UK Thang Killed
British Thang Police said the man identified as a suspect in the Kroger shooting was 29 years old. Her birthday was October 17, 1991.
At a press conference on Friday morning, UK Thang was described as a third-party supplier to Kroger, Collierville Police Chief Dale Lane said.
Police did not provide any information about a possible motive for the shooting.

A police source previously told ABC24’s Brad Broders that Thang was released earlier today. Lane did not confirm this at the press conference on Friday.
UK Thang had what Lane called “misdemeanor arrests but nothing for violence or whatever”.
Police issued a search warrant at Thang’s home. Evidence taken from the house would be processed from Friday, Lane said.
Thang would have acted alone, police said.
UK Thang died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, police said.
