From 1996 to 2006, Tarek Fatah hosted the Muslim Chronicle, Toronto-based weekly current affairs talk show on CTS and Vision TV aimed primarily at the Muslim community.
From 2009 to 2015, he was a Toronto radio station anchor with CFRB Newstalk 1010. He was a regular contributor to The John Moore Morning Show. Fatah co-hosted Friendly Fire with Ryan Doyle from 2009-2011.
From 2011 to 2015, Tarek hosted the Tarek Fatah Show every Sunday afternoon. He was a regular presenter of What The Fatah hosted by the New Delhi Times on his own YouTube channel. The talk show focuses on current and international political trends. It has been seen massively in countries like India, Pakistan and Canada.
In 2017, the Indian Police Department arrested two men hired by Chhota Shakeel to assassinate Fatah.
