Sarah Ashwell was officially identified as a victim of “suspicious death” after her body was found in her Wells home on Sunday night.
Antanas Jankauskas was charged with the murder of Sarah Ashwell, a mother of two who was found dead in her home.

Man Charged With Murdering Sarah Ashwell
Ashwell died on November 7th at his home on South Street in Wells.
The murder investigation into his death continues, and three men remain in custody.
Sarah’s family released a moving statement from police on Wednesday: “We are devastated by what happened to Sarah, who we all love so much. Nothing can prepare you for such terrible news and we are heartbroken.”
“Sarah still had a large part of her life to live. It is unbearable for us to think that it has been taken from him and that it has been taken from us.”
Suspects Arrested
A total of four people were arrested in connection with the investigation into her murder, as per the Avon and Somerset Police.
Three men were arrested on suspicion of murder after the body of the company’s former director was found, and two others were in police custody. The other man was released as part of the investigation.
The fourth man arrested on Tuesday also remains in police custody on suspicion of murder.
The police are still present at the crime scene, officers guard a house and patrol the local community. Forensics continues to gather evidence around the house.

Detective Superintendent Gary Haskins, the head of the investigation, called the investigation “quick and complex.”
