Revised Ramadan Schedules For The 6 Day Workweek In Schools & Colleges

The Federal Department of Education (BDE) has announced that the six-day week will be observed with immediate effect. The FDE has also revised the schedules of schools and colleges in the Islamabad jurisdiction during Ramadan.

According to the call by the Academic Director of the FDE, the morning shift in schools and Colleges starts at 8 a.m. from Monday to Saturday. and ends at 12 p.m.

In the evening shift, schools and colleges open at 12:00 p.m. and close at 4:00 p.m. from Monday to Thursday. The Friday afternoon shift starts at 2:00 p.m. and ends at 4:00 p.m.

The FDE Director of Studies has asked all Area Education Officers (AEOs) and Heads of Education (HOIs) to update students on the revised plans for schools and colleges during Ramadan before the end of the school week.
