PM Youth Program Will Give Away 1 Lac Laptops To Talented Students

The Prime Minister’s youth program will reintroduce the laptop program this year, according to the announcement by Shaza Fatima Khawaja, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) for youth affairs. In a recent press conference, SAPM announced that the program aims to provide 100,000 laptops to young people.

He expressed regret that the previous government had shut down the program and stressed the importance of laptops to enable young people to continue their studies and work remotely during the COVID-19 pandemic. Laptops distributed by the previous government under the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz umbrella proved essential in facilitating continuity in difficult circumstances.

In addition, the government created the National Innovation Awards to promote a culture of entrepreneurship among young people. The aim of this award is to recognize and promote innovative ideas and initiatives.

SAPM highlighted the government’s commitment to promoting healthy activities among young people. Last year around 54,000 children took part in various sports activities. Ice hockey trials were held in 25 regions, while volleyball trials were held in 28 regions.

In addition, SAPM announced that registration for football trials across the country has begun, offering youth from across Pakistan the opportunity to showcase their skills in the sport.

Together, these initiatives reflect the government’s focus on empowering and engaging young people by providing educational opportunities, encouraging innovation, and encouraging healthy and active lifestyles.
