Musk Says Tesla is Planning To Build AI-Controlled Humanoid Robot

The Tesla humanoid robot is programmed to perform dangerous and monotonous activities for people.

Elon Musk revealed at the automaker’s AI Day event that Tesla is building a humanoid robot, simply called the Tesla Bot ‘Optimus’.

This bot is designed to be good looking, but also slow and weak enough to overcome and overpower it if a robot riot occurs in the future.

The Tesla Bot is powered by an artificial intelligence system, similar to the company’s autopilot technology.

It will be programmed to perform a multitude of dangerous and repetitive tasks for humans and to find its way around our world without step-by-step instructions.

Musk said he should be able to respond to simple commands such as “Please take the screw and put this wrench on the car.” You should also be able to shop for groceries and do other minor chores for the owners.

While Musk only showed a photo of the robot at the event, the company already has a good idea of what it would look like. She is five feet tall and, through the use of lightweight materials for her body, weighs 125 pounds and will have a face shield that can be used to display important information.

The machine will be able to travel at a maximum speed of 5 mph, which is slightly faster than normal walking speed for a human, and it can support weights of up to 45 pounds.

Musk said the company intends to have a prototype of the Tesla bot ready by next year, but delays are expected in such ambitious initiatives.
