The chipmaker also announced that it is on track to meet its revenue growth target for the second quarter of 2021, which is over 10% year over year.

The company says it is ready to meet its full-year revenue growth and gross margin expectations. MediaTek also announced that it is working closely with its backend partners to reduce the impact of COVID-19 on the company’s business.

Previously, the company had forecast that its sales would grow 40% this year and that its gross profit margin would be between 44 and 46.

That news comes after King Yuan Electronics (KYEC) ‘s two-day factory shutdown, which resulted in a 30-35% loss in MediaTek’s June release.
