On Account of Current Heatwave, KPK Govt Announces New School Timings on Thursday in the official notification.

According to the notice released from the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education, all public and private schools operating in the summer and winter zones will remain open from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.

“The elementary and middle classes will be closed next Friday and Saturday (June 11th and 12th), and the decision on the start of these classes will be made on June 13th,” the statement said.

He went on to explain that grades 9th and 12th students will only study the subjects they appear in the Board exams 2021. The Islamabad Education Authority today adjusted the timetables for educational institutions due to the unusually hot weather.

A notice from the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) in Islamabad about the changes in school timetables due to the heatwave was issued.

He had said that single-shift institutions were allowed to hold regular classes Monday through Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

In addition, two-shift operations would give classes from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., while evening classes would be held on Fridays and Saturdays from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
