From January 21-22, the metropolis is expected to experience another dry and cold spell with no chance of rain, according to Karachi’s chief meteorologist Sardar Sarfraz.

He told the media that Tuesday’s 3-degree rise in the low temperature suggests the current cold spell is coming to an end.

According to Sarfraz, the city would likely be rocked on January 21-22 due to arctic winds blowing from Balochistan. At this time, the northeast wind can blow stronger than usual. The chief meteorologist said there was no chance of rain during the new cold snap.

On the night of January 18, this wave will move towards Balochistan from the west. Balochistan will experience a new wave of westerly winds from today (Wednesday), according to the Early Warning Center of the Meteorological Department.

There is a chance of drizzle and light rain on January 19-20 in Jacobabad, Qambar Shahdadkot, Kashmore, Shikarpur, Larkana, Sukkur, Ghotki, Khairpur, Dadu and Noshero Feroz. (Wednesday).

On Tuesday, the city registered minimums of up to 9 degrees Celsius and maximums of up to 26.2 degrees Celsius.

Balochistan experienced northeast winds with a maximum speed of 16 km/h throughout the day.

There was some fog in the morning which reduced visibility to 3 km.
