Karachi Weather Update: Will Karachi Rain in January 2023?
With cloudy weather in the city, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) on Thursday ruled out any chance of rain in Karachi for the next few days.
In January 2023 no rain is expected in the city for two weeks according to PMD Director Sardar Sarfaraz but partly cloudy skies with some drizzle or rain are expected today.
The sea breeze will blow all day, the Met official said. He predicted the city would experience cold, dry weather for the next 24 hours.
A flat wave from the west that began sweeping the nation Wednesday night is now hitting western parts of the country, according to the latest PMD alert.
“Storms (mountain snow) are expected in North and West Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Upper Punjab, Kashmir, and Gilgit Baltistan,” it said.
The PMD said foggy conditions in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and upper Sindh are expected to clear.
