Heidi Hull, her husband, and her children were identified as a family of four from Avon Lake who were found dead Tuesday in an alleged homicide-suicide.
Jeffrey Hull, 50 years old; Heidi, Garrett Hull, 9 years old; and Grant Hull, 6; were found dead with gunshot wounds in the house on English Turn near Avon Belden Road, as per an Avon Lake Police press release.

As per the preliminary investigation, detectives believe Jeffrey Hull shot and killed his wife and two children before committing suicide, police said.
The fatal shots are still being investigated.
Police said Avon Lake officers performed a wellness check shortly after 1:15 p.m. when they found the four dead in the house.
As per the police call logs, Heidi Hull’s employer reported that she did not show up for a conference call. The employer requested the social check after no one opened the front door of Hull’s apartment.
A dog was found in the house and taken to the Avon Lake Veterinary Clinic, police said.
It is not known whether the dog was injured in the incident.
The family could not be reached on Wednesday for comment. Neighbors didn’t want to comment either.
What Police Have Investigated Up Till Now?
Police say they suspect Jeffrey Hull of killing his wife, children, and dog before he committed suicide. They don’t know when the shooting took place.
As per the police, there was no history of calls to the apartment.
On Tuesday, Avon Lake City Schools issued a statement mourning the loss of Grant and Garrett.
The school principal said a team of counselors was at the school Wednesday to help the students.
