Eligibility Criteria

  1. Possession of a domicile/locality certificate from Gwadar, Lasbela/Hub, Kech (Torbat), or Awaran district of Balochistan.
  2. Successful completion of both Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) or their equivalents.
  3. Completion of 12 years of education with a minimum of 50% marks.
  4. Completion of SSC and HSSC or their equivalents from a college/institute located in any designated district of Balochistan (Gwadar, Lasbela/Hub, Kech (Turbat), and Awaran).
  5. Admission to a BS program for a maximum of one academic year/session before the scholarship advertisement is eligible.
  6. Applicant’s age should not exceed 22 years as of the last date.
  7. Applicants already benefiting from any other HEC/Government scholarship are ineligible.
  8. Fulfillment of HEC and respective university criteria for admission.
  9. Applicants awaiting results are not eligible to apply.

Important Notes

  1. Scholarships will be awarded based on merit and district quota.
  2. Shortlisting will be based on educational credentials and aptitude test scores conducted by HEC.
  3. Applicants must secure a minimum of 50% marks in the HEC-conducted aptitude test.
  4. The scholarship merit list will be prepared based on online information provided by applicants, with any misrepresentation leading to cancellation at any stage.

How to Apply Online:

  1. Submit online applications on the HEC website.
  2. No hard copies of applications or documents are required at this stage.
  3. Pay a non-refundable application processing fee of Rs. 500 at Habib Bank Limited (Account No: 1742 7900 1334 01, Account Title: Higher Education Commission, Branch Code: 1742).
  4. Upload the original bank payment record/slip with the online application and present it at the examination center for the test.
  5. Submit the online application after completing the form; incomplete applications will not be considered.
  6. HEC reserves the right to postpone or cancel the scholarship process at any stage without assigning a reason.
