Gunner Shot Dead Near The Home Of Prince William, Kate Middleton
The London Metropolitan Police shot dead an armed man on Saturday near Kensington Palace, the residence of Prince William and Kate Middleton.
The shooting reportedly took place just steps from Kensington Palace.
AFP adds: A special unit was called in following reports of a man seen with a gun at a bank and a bookmaker in the Kensington neighborhood shortly after 3 p.m.

About 20 minutes later, the unit stopped a vehicle, and shots were fired. Paramedics were called, including an ambulance, but the man was pronounced dead shortly before 4:10 p.m.
“Efforts are being made to confirm the man’s identity and inform his relatives,” said a Metropolitan Police statement.
