Federal Govt Decided To Clear All The Matric & Inter Students
The government has decided to approve all undergraduate and high school students who passed this year’s exams.
It was decided that all elementary and middle school students who did not achieve a passing grade will be assigned the standard grade of 33% and promoted to subsequent grades.
The grading scale for compulsory subjects is based on the average of the elective subjects chosen.
The federal Minister of Education and Vocational Training, Shafqat Mahmood, did so on Monday under the chairmanship of the interprovincial conference of ministers of education.
“The decision was made because no further investigation was possible due to the current COVID-19 situation in the country,” he reported.
Federal Minister Shafqat Mahmood later said in a tweet that “the board examinations will be held in May-June and the next academic year will begin on August 22. O and A Level exams as scheduled Universities establish their own exam schedule”.
He further said that “Every effort will be made to ensure that the entire curriculum for all classes is completed by April / May. Then there will be no smart program. The review covers the entire program.”
Regarding the reopening of the institutes, the minister pointed out that these relevant recommendations would in principle be directed to the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC).

In addition, the federal government has committed to organizing tests for students in grades V and VIII. Recently, the Director-General concerned approved and sent a summary to the competent authorities.
At this point it is important to mention that the schools have already resumed classes for grades IX and X.
The Federal Directorate of Education will inform all public service schools about the exam schedule for classes I-VIII in the coming weeks.
