Apple confirmed the arrival of its highly anticipated iPhone 13 at its annual fall Tuesday afternoon launch event.

The new phone line includes four new models that are compatible with the existing list of iPhone 12.

Prices start at 699 USD for the iPhone 13 Mini and 799 USD for the base iPhone 13. The iPhone 13 Pro starts at 999 USD while the largest model, the iPhone 13 Max, starts at 1,099 USD. The prices correspond to the iPhone 12 series.

Apple shares fell 1.2% on Tuesday afternoon.

The event was large what Wall Street expected, with some wrinkles. Perhaps the biggest surprise was the lack of an update to the AirPods range.

Some investors may have been surprised by Apple’s decision to keep the price of the iPhone 13 range unchanged from comparable iPhone 12 models despite the recent component shortage. There were minor updates for Apple TV + and Apple Fitness + (They add Pilates And meditation sessions).

Apple CEO Tim Cook, who hosted the highly produced recorded event, did not address the pricing controversy on the App Store.
