Who is Brittany Dawn Davis of Dallas? Biography, Wiki

Brittany Dawn Davis has been sued by Texas over allegations that her fitness program involved fraudulent practices and negatively impacted clients with eating disorders.

Brittany Dawn switched to religious content in 2019 after initially being accused of her fitness workouts misleading people with eating disorders.

Brittany Dawn Davis’s Age

Her current age is 30 years.

The Instagram Influencer Was Sued By The State Of Texas

Davis, a 30-year-old woman from Fort Worth, started selling thousands of fitness packages online in 2014 after creating her social media profile as a so-called healthy living expert by sharing photos of her body, nutrition, and exercise tips shared.

“She has been described as ‘your coach, your confidante, your greatest support and friend.’ She is there to ‘push you on, shape you and help you find the person you have always wanted to be,'” the suit reads. Texas Attorney General. The documents were filed in Dallas County Court on February 1 and were first reported by the Dallas Morning News.

Brittany Dawn Fitness LLC classes ranged from $92 to $300 per month, with Davis reportedly offering customized training and plans.

But thanks to a private Facebook group where members were encouraged to share their progress, Davis’ clients realized he’d given many of them the same workout and diet plans without any adjustments.

And instead of offering personal advice, according to the complaint, Davis made “general and insignificant” comments like “THIS IS MY DAUGHTER!” You’re killing it!” and “You have this baby!”

Davis did not respond to a request for comment from BuzzFeed News.

At least 14 customers named in the complaint who requested a refund from Davis are people with eating disorders. One said Davis’ presence on social media and his self-identification as an “eating disorder soldier” led her to believe he received “special training” to suit her conditions.

A woman who suffered from a restrictive eating disorder and told David she wanted to increase her calorie intake said Davis gave her a meal plan that had a “significantly lower” calorie count than what she had previously eaten. Trial records show that Davis refused to accept clients with eating disorders.

There’s also no evidence that Davis has any professional fitness training: the lawsuit doesn’t cover her lack of experience, which isn’t all that uncommon in the fitness influencer business. Instead, the focus is on Davis’ inability to deliver the advertised custom products.

In February 2019, consumer complaints about the fitness program became so widespread that Davis shared an apology video (now deleted) on YouTube and shut down his website. He appeared on Good Morning America to say he “took full responsibility” for his “mistake” and “did everything to make things right.”

When Davis returned to social media after a brief hiatus, her audience noticed a difference in the type of content she posted. Rather than just focusing on fitness, her YouTube videos and Instagram posts mentioned Christianity. In November 2019, he addressed the change.

What Was The Lawsuit?

According to the lawsuit, the attorney general’s office is seeking between $250,000 and $1 million in fines and court costs. However, Attorney General Ken Paxton has faced legal and ethical charges in recent months. The Donald Trump-backed politician is currently in a tight primary race.

In his last post on Sunday, Davis appeared to imply that he was treating legal errors in his fitness program as evidence of a universal “need” for “Jesus.” Based on the range of positive comments from their followers, they agree.

Except one. “You will also need Jesus all the way to the courthouse,” said one comment with 157 likes.
