Toseland has a history of previous nonviolent arrests, all in California, dating back to 2005. In 2010 he was arrested for driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol at over 110 km/h.
He was found guilty and convicted. In 2011, he was again convicted of drunk driving and a driver’s license suspension.
Toseland was arrested Tuesday after police officers from the Clark County School District contacted the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department just before 9 a.m.
After school officials reported the letter to police, Mason’s mother and Toseland, who is not the father of either child, were stopped at a traffic stop around 10 a.m., Law&Crime reported.
