Americans Now Prefer Samsung Over Apple
According to a recent Axios Harris Poll in May 2023, Samsung has overtaken Apple as the most popular brand among Americans.
Respondents were asked to rank their favorite brands based on factors such as quality, value, and customer service. Samsung received an overall score of 84.6, beating Apple’s overall score of 83.0.
This is the first time Samsung has overtaken Apple in these polls. The year before, Apple took first place, closely followed by Samsung in second place. However, it’s important to note that this trend in popularity doesn’t necessarily mean that Americans are now explicitly preferring Samsung Galaxy phones to iPhones.
Samsung offers a wider range of products compared to Apple, which may contribute to its overall popularity.
Samsung’s diverse product portfolio, ranging from smartphones to TVs to smart home devices, makes the company more attractive to consumers than Apple, which focuses primarily on smartphones, computers, and tablets.
This means that people who are happy with their Samsung TV may be more inclined to choose a Samsung smartphone when deciding to upgrade their devices.
