The UAE Government is Rolling Out its Own ChatGPT-Style AI Tool

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has launched an AI-powered chatbot called “U-Ask” on its official government portal. The platform serves as a unified chatbot for government services and leverages generative artificial intelligence technology.

It allows users to get information about government services in Arabic and English, including service requirements, information relevant to their preferences, and application links.

Minister of State for Government Development and Future, Ohood bint Khalfan Al Roumi, said the platform contributes to the committee’s goal of boosting the government’s digital efforts.

Helps integrate projects and improve the efficiency of government systems. Al Roumi pointed out that the UAE government is continuously improving its digital system by modernizing the infrastructure to provide optimized services tailored to people’s needs.

Mohamed bin Taliah, Head of Government Services, UAE Government, highlighted the user-friendly and flexible access to government services via the chatbot platform.

The U-Ask platform is designed to handle a wide range of requests and requests, from basic information to more complex service requests.

It provides comprehensive answers including essential information and available application methods. Developed in collaboration with Microsoft and PwC Middle East, the platform can offer personalized recommendations and suggestions based on your preferences and past interactions.
