What is USAT HEC Test?
The Higher Education Commission has announced the HEC USAT registration 2021 schedule for all the undergraduate programs at all universities in Pakistan. The HEC 2021 Undergraduate Admission Test is taken quarterly and the USAT score is accepted by universities.
USAT HEC Test Date 2021
The HEC USAT online registration deadline is 30th August 2021, the Undergraduate Studies Admission Test will take place on 12th September 2021.
USAT HEC Test Syllabus
The Higher Education Commission will conduct the test through the Education Testing Council (ETC) at universities operating across Pakistan. The test pattern corresponds to the SAT.
USAT will cover all undergraduate disciplines. Therefore, all students who wish to continue their education and are admitted to a university must appear in the HEC USAT Test 2021.
All the students who pass from USAT would be eligible as SATs at all universities.
HEC USAT Test Eligibility Criteria
The Following is the eligibility criteria to appear in the USAT Test 2021:
- Students who have passed their HSSC exams (intermediate level) or an equivalent diploma
- Students who have already given the intermediate exams and are now waiting for the result.
HEC Test Pattern For Undergraduate Admissions
The HEC test for undergraduate admissions consists of the following two parts, the total marks of an entry test are 100.

Part I (Duration: 100 mins)
- Verbal reasoning: 35 MCQs
- Quantitative Reasoning: 40 MCQs

Part II (Duration: 40 mins)
- Essay Writing: 400-500 words in total (25 MCQs)
NOTE: Candidates must have to score at least 50% Marks in USAT test out of 100 to be eligible for the furthur admission process.
USAT HEC Test Date
As per the published schedule, HEC will conduct the USAT test 2021 on 12th September 2021 (provisionally).
Procedure to Apply For HEC USAT Online Registration
- To register, visit (HEC ETC Portal) using this link: http://etc.hec.gov.pk.
- Submitting the application consists of two parts: first the section of your ‘MY PROFILE’, then the ‘USAT’ link on the left side of the portal.
- Submit your complete application. HEC will not accept just saved or incomplete applications.
- For USAT, applicants must submit Rs 1200 / – to HBL Account # 1742 7900 1334 01, Account Title: Higher Education Commission.
- After that must send the picture of your deposit receipt to Member’s House, HEC Sector H-8, Islamabad.
- Last date to apply online USAT registration 2021 is 30th August 2021.
