UAE Launches An Online Birth And Death Certificate Service

The United Arab Emirates Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) has launched a new online service allowing Emiratis and ex-pats to obtain birth and death certificates with just a few clicks on its website.

This initiative will simplify procedures, provide efficient service, and maintain accurate records of births and deaths across the country. You can also request the re-issuance and replacement of lost certificates.

Mabrouk Ma Yak, a unique ministry service, is now available to Emirati newborns. Allows birth certificates to be issued and transmitted before the Federal Agency for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Port Protection (ICP)

This simple transfer allows the ICP to issue an infant ID card and passport. It will also place them in the family register and the population registers.

Dr. Hussain Abdul Rahman Al Rand, Deputy Assistant Secretary for the Public Health Sector, noted that online birth and death registration services are now available. Work is also underway to further improve them.

Dr. Nada Al Marzouqi, head of the Department of Public Health and Prevention said the new electronic system is vital as it allows the government to track births and deaths.
