Tribute To Owen Dunn, Stabbed To Death
After a teenager was fatally stabbed, his grieving family and friends paid tribute to his ‘beautiful angel’.
Over the weekend, 18-year-old Owen Dunn was murdered in Swindon, Wilts, and police are questioning a 14-year-old boy suspected of the crime.
“Another day of waking up to this nightmare, how are we supposed to live with this constant pain, the crying, the feeling that your heart has been cut out,” she said.
A friend of Owen’s described him as “the most beautiful and sincere angel”.
“What a beautiful soul. I will cherish every memory we share, especially your laugh, you will always be in my heart.”
“So many people loved you, Owen.”
Many others expressed their condolences, including his aunt, who said on Facebook the family is in “constant” grief, concluding by saying, “I love you so much, my beautiful nephew.”
The student arrested on Sunday on suspicion of killing Owen was still in prison.
They held him longer so the police could question him.
Following the Mazurek Way murder at Haydon End in Wiltshire, Owen’s family members thanked the community for their support.
In a brief tribute, they said: “We are grateful for all the support, kind words and donations we have received.”
A spokesman for Wiltshire Police said: “Detectives are continuing to question a 14-year-old boy suspected of Owen’s murder.”
“The public will continue to see an increased police presence across Swindon in response to this incident.”
“We continue to request information that will assist us in our investigation.”
