Stemen is said to have told the victim that the stabbing looked like a “bee sting.”
“A PERVERTED man stabbed a woman with a syringe filled with her sperm during a disruptive attack in a supermarket. Thomas Bryon Stemen, 51, told the victim: “I know it looks like a bee sting, doesn’t it?” when he stuck the needle in her buttocks.
The victim who was confronted with the rod found a stab wound.
She said: “I started going home (and) it started to hurt a lot.” “I called my son and said, ‘Something is wrong, I hope nothing happens. I hope to come home I love you”
Stemen was sentenced to 10 years in prison.
“A Churchton man who stabbed a woman with a semen-filled syringe was sentenced to prison Tuesday. An Anne Arundel County judge sentenced Thomas Stemen to 10 years in prison.”
Attack recorded with surveillance video.
Police said they pulled CCTV footage and saw a man in his fifties walking near the victim. The man beat the victim, police said, and there was an exchange between the two.
An anonymous trickled to Stemen’s arrest.
“As per the police, they received an anonymous tip that led them to Stemen, 51, and they recovered the fluid-filled syringe from the driver’s door of his vehicle.”
Stemen pleaded guilty.
Due to the nature of Alford’s guilty plea, Stemen’s case will not go to trial. Rather, he will accept the consequences of the crime without admitting it.
