Saudia Announced Massive Discounts Of 60% in Dubai And Several Other Destinations
Saudia, the national airline of Saudi Arabia, has launched a 48-hour quick sale offering a massive 60% discount on flights to various global destinations.
The offer is valid for travel in May and is available for purchase on April 19th and 20th. The airline offers discounts on flights from Saudi Arabia to Bangkok, Dubai, Frankfurt, Seoul, New York, Kuala Lumpur, Los Angeles, London, Manila and Zurich.
It is important to mention that this offer is only valid for Basic Economy Class.
Saudia’s Passenger Traffic in 2023
Saudia reported receiving around 7 million passengers in the first quarter (Q1) of 2023. This is an increase of 35% compared to the same period last year.
Of the total, 3.2 million were domestic travelers and 3.8 million were international passengers, a whopping 94% increase over the latter.
Saudia aircraft performed more than 42,000 flights across four continents in the first quarter of 2023, up 5% year-on-year. This equates to more than 127,500 flight hours, an increase of 26%.
The airline operated more than 18,300 international flights, a year-on-year increase of 40%, resulting in 87,300 flight hours, an increase of 55.2%.
In addition, the airline operated 23,600 domestic flights totaling 40,100 flight hours.
