Qatar Secures The Rights To Host The 2027 Men’s Basketball World Cup

Qatar has been selected to host the 2027 Men’s World Basketball Championship, marking the first time the country has hosted the prestigious event.

Qatar has become famous as the host of major global sporting events, most recently the country hosted the FIFA Men’s World Cup in November/December last year. The decision to award the 2027 FIBA World Cup to Qatar speaks to the country’s growing reputation as a hub for major sporting events.
