PMD Predicts Hot, Dry Weather For Most Of Pakistan

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecasted hot and dry weather for most of Pakistan for the next 24 hours. However, there is a chance of rain and thunderstorms in the northern regions of Gilgit Baltistan (UK), Kashmir, and adjacent regions.

Based on the details, Islamabad and Punjab are likely to experience hot and dry weather. However, there is a chance of rain and thunderstorms in Murree, Galiyat, and Jhelum in the afternoon. Meanwhile, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) will also experience hot and dry weather across most of the province.

However, there may be rain-wind/storms in Kohistan, Mansehra, and Balakot. Additionally, Sindh and Balochistan will experience hot and dry weather for the next 24 hours.

It is important to mention that the recommendation comes immediately after the pre-monsoon season with heavy rains across the country. The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has to forecasted above-average rainfall for the upcoming monsoon season, which is expected to start in late June and last through mid-August.
