PMC Provides MDCAT 2021 Fee Subsidy For Students

PMC To Charge 6000 For National MDCAT 2021 Entry Test

Pakistani Medical Commission PMC announced to charge in National MDCAT 2021 Medical and Dental Colleges Admission Test Fee for NMDCAT 2021 is PKR: 6000/-.

More than 1,26,000 students appeared in MDCAT 2020 and almost the same number of students is expected this year. PMC will be able to collect over Rs 75 crore from students.

The MDCAT 2020 fee was PKR: 1500/-. How many students in Pakistan can afford such a high fee just to take the exams.

It is an act of injustice and brutality because even private testing agencies do not charge such high fees for their tests. Second, it is an entrance exam to the medical profession. Many students from low-income families dream of being a doctor in the service of humanity.

According to PMC, the MDCAT 2021 fees include:

  • Entry Test Fee
  • Online tutorial
  • One Mock Entry Test
  • Communication of MDCAT results to applied colleges and Universities

Charging PKR: 6000/- just for the entry test examination by a public sector organization cannot be justified.

PMC could argue that this is a computerized online test and also offers a mock entry test. But UET Lahore also offers the same services in PKR only: 1300/-.

As each student must appear in the MDCAT 2021 to apply for admission to public and private medical schools, it is therefore compulsory for each student wishing to become a doctor to pay PKR: 6000/- to PMC. Therefore, the intention is to gain the maximum profit, which can only be seen as an act of sheer brutality.
