The private bus service in Pakistan has decided to operate its Eid al-Fitr buses between Islamabad and the Chinese city of Tashkurgan. A company representative informed Gwadar Pro that the service from Islamabad to Tashkurgan will begin on May 13, 2023.

In the first phase, a Utong minibus with a capacity of 28 seats will be used. The journey takes about 38 hours, including the immigration procedure. The passengers also spend one night at the Sost border.

The fee is estimated at RKR 60,000. Necessary travel requirements include an original passport and copy, a valid original visa and copy, and an invitation to China (visa category), according to the representative.

The service is open to anyone wishing to visit China for official, business, or tourist purposes. The company also plans to expand the service given its needs and popularity with people in both countries.
