Manchester United Completed The Signing of Cristiano Ronaldo

Manchester United Football Club completed the signing of Cristiano Ronaldo for his second season at Old Trafford on Monday.

Ronaldo is said to have been signed by Manchester United for a €23 million transfer fee, compared to Italian club Juventus’ $27 million.

After signing, the club took to Twitter to announce that the star footballer is back.

“Manchester United is pleased to confirm the signing of Cristiano Ronaldo on a two-year contract with a one-year extension option, subject to international approval,” Manchester United said in a statement.

The footballer himself has confirmed his move to the English club through an Instagram post.

Ronaldo used Instagram to express his feelings about his return to Manchester United. The footballer wrote that it was “a dream come true”.

Recalling his club career, Ronaldo added: “My first National League, my first trophy, my first appointment to the Portuguese team, my first Champions League, my first Golden Shoe, and my first Ballon d’Or, they are all coming from it and special bond between the Red Devils and me.”

The world-famous Portuguese footballer started his career with the English club in 2003.

He then moved to the Spanish club Real Madrid in 2009, from where he moved to Juventus in 2018.
