The body of Maddie Durdant-Hollamby was found by police on a property on Slate Drive in Kettering shortly after 1:00 p.m. on 27th August after receiving a report of her well-being.
His friend Ben Green, 41, was also found dead on the same property he owned.
Northamptonshire Police said Ms. Durdant-Hollamby’s death was treated as murder and no one else was wanted in the incident.
Police said on Wednesday preliminary autopsy reports showed Ms. Durdant-Hollamby had died from stabbing and Mr. Green had self-inflicted knife wounds.
He added that both families have been informed of the results and are assisted by professional officials.

Benjamin Green was a marketing manager who was found dead along with a 22-year-old dancer in an alleged murder-suicide that had “a number of young girlfriends,” as it was learned last night.
The bodies of Maddie Durdant-Hollamby and Ben Green, 41, were found by police at a house in Kettering, Northamptonshire, shortly before 1 p.m. on Friday after a report on their welfare was made.
Detectives investigating the case said they were treating the death of marketing manager Maddie, of Wimblington, Cambridgeshire, as murder.
However, officials said they were not looking for anyone else in connection with his death.
Maddie and Green are believed to have had a relationship after meeting in the marketing department of Alumasc Water Management Solutions.

Chief Detective Inspector Senior Investigator Joe Banfield said, “Our inquest into the deaths of Maddie and Ben is ongoing and a case is being prepared for the coroner”.
“We continue to urge the media to let Maddie and Ben’s families and friends cry alone and to stop all efforts to contact them at this desperately sad time.”
