Jennifer Hudson has officially released her official audio track for Jennifer Hudson’s new music video Here I Am (Singing My Way Home).
Shortly before it was released, Hudson made a statement about the new track and was quoted as saying, “The music in this film is as alive and breathing a character as it is in Ms. Franklin’s life.”
The process of creating this song was like paying the greatest homage to his spirit.
“It was the last breath of this extraordinary project and one that I left out with complete satisfaction,” she said.
“It was an incredible privilege to do it with Carole and Jamie…”
Our goal was to show that for Ms. Franklin, music has always been the anchor in everything she did, and I hope this song is her strength Voice illustrated in the truest sense of the word “and figuratively what she always brought home.”
