The UAE offers its citizens a rich experience in terms of mobility and quality of life while taking maximum care of its residents.

With Eid al-Fitr just around the corner and the holidays planned, residents of the emirate are exploring ways to celebrate the holidays with panoramic views and comfort.

While UAE citizens have visa-free access to dozens of countries, Emirati residents also have the freedom to travel to 15 countries that offer visas on arrival.

These countries are:

  • Malaysia
  • Singapore
  • Brunei
  • Mauritius
  • Sri Lanka
  • Indonesia
  • Thailand
  • Montenegro
  • Nepal
  • Seychelles
  • Armenia
  • Kyrgyzstan
  • Georgia
  • Maldives
  • Azerbaijan

Some of these countries, like Thailand and Sri Lanka, offer cheap travel for globetrotters, and those residing in the United Arab Emirates can take advantage.

Another aspect that makes these countries attractive is the fact that most of these countries are only a five-hour flight away from the United Arab Emirates.

This year, Easter also falls on Ramzan, which is compounded by the Eid al Fitr holiday, prompting Emirati residents to explore different countries without visa problems, Arabian Business reported.

This year’s Passover is scheduled for April 9th, followed by Eid Al-Fitr on April 20th or 21st.

There are now countless options for those with a UAE passport, as the passport has been ranked the number one most powerful passport in the world by offshore consultancy Nomad Capitalist.

UAE passport holders can enter a total of 181 destinations either visa-free, visa on arrival, or via an eTA (Electronic Travel Authorization).

The difference that UAE enjoys is that it has a large foreign population and its residents are considered low-risk travelers, allowing countries to open up to them more frequently and more conveniently.
