Police are urgently looking for a man suspected of stabbing and kidnapping the woman and warning that he could be “armed and dangerous.”

West Midlands Police released a photo on Sunday of Martin suspected of kidnapping a woman in the Solihull area.
The woman, whom Martin is known to police, managed to get to safety after only minor injuries, Birmingham Live reports.
Police say the suspect escaped in a car when officers attempted to arrest him on Monday.
What Was The Crime?
West Midlands Police are looking for him urgently after the ordeal on Sunday.
It happened on residential land in Solihull, West Mids, and detectives say Martin was dangerous and armed.
A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: “We are urgently looking for Lee Martin, 41, who is wanted for stabbing and kidnapping a woman in the Solihull area on September 5th.”
“The woman Martin knows came out safe and sound and luckily only slightly injured.”

What Police Have Investigated Up Till Now?
Police Officers warn the public to call 999 and not to approach Martin if they see him.
The gang tweeted: “We are urgently looking for Lee Martin, 41, who is wanted for stabbing and kidnapping a woman in the Solihull area on Sunday, September 5th.”
“The woman Martin knows came out safe and sound and luckily was only slightly injured.”
Police added: “The suspect escaped in a car when the police tried to arrest him the next day. We urge anyone with information about his fate not to contact him as we believe he is dangerous and could be armed, but to call us on 999.”
