Federal Govt Increased The No. Of Eid-ul-Fitr Holidays
Pakistan’s upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr holiday could be extended, a national daily report.
The decision on the extension should be made shortly. If approved, the extended vacation from April 20 to 25 (Thursday to Tuesday) will be observed.
Earlier this week, the federal government announced the Eid holiday schedule. Public holidays are observed from April 21 to 25 (Friday to Tuesday).
After the federal government, the KP government announced its Eid holiday schedule. The province will observe the Eid holiday from April 21 to 26 (Friday to Wednesday).
After the KP announcement, Punjab also announced its Eid holiday schedule. The province will follow the same Eid schedule as the federal government from April 21-25 (Friday-Tuesday).
The Ruet-i-Hilal Central Committee has called its monthly meeting to survey the Shawaal Crescent. The date is set for Thursday, April 20 (Ramadan 29). Area committees also meet in specific areas on the same day.
The central meeting will be held at the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony building in Islamabad. President Molana Abdul Khabeer Azad will chair the session.
