Federal Govt Announced New Summer And Winter Timings For Schools And Colleges

The Federal Education Directorate (FDE), a department of the Federal Ministry of Education, has officially communicated the summer and winter timings for the coming academic year.

According to the official statement from the academic wing of the FDE, schools, and colleges will operate on a single timing during the summer season, Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Friday until 12:30 p.m.

For properties with an evening shift, the morning shift is from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. and the second shift will work from 1:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Thursday. The second shift starts at 2:30 p.m. on Friday.

During the winter season, one-hour schools and colleges operate Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and Friday until 12:30 p.m.

In properties with an evening shift, the morning shift works from Monday to Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and the second shift from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The second shift starts at 2:30 p.m. on Friday.
