Dubai is Among The Top 10 Business Cities in The World
Dubai is one of the top 10 destinations worldwide for entrepreneurs looking to start an import or export business, according to a new report by Germany-based moving company Movinga.
The study examined each city’s business environment, logistics network and market accessibility for restaurants, technology startups or import/export companies.
Dubai secured ninth place, while Shanghai and Amsterdam finished second and third. The ranking is intended to help entrepreneurs identify suitable cities for their businesses.
Dubai’s attractive attributes such as its location, tax incentives, and business-friendly laws have made it a prime destination for businesses and industries.
The city’s infrastructure and logistics, including seaports and airports, make it an ideal location for world trade.
In recent years, Dubai has taken steps to further simplify business processes by streamlining government services and reducing “red tapism,” a term used for bureaucratic hurdles. Thanks to these efforts, the city also achieved excellent results in the latest World Bank report.
Dubai’s recognition in the World Bank report is determined by various factors including starting a business, obtaining building permits, property registration, access to credit, investor protection, payment of taxes, and cross-border trade.
