Dubai Introduces Several New 24-Hour Beaches

Dubai has opened three-night bathing beaches at Jumeirah 2, Jumeirah 3, and Umm Suqeim 1 to expand its beach tourism offer. With a length of 800 meters, they are equipped with lighting systems that allow residents and tourists to bathe at any time of the day, as well as electronic screens that alert bathers to safety.

Dawoud Al Hajri, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Dubai Municipality, said the new beaches are in line with the vision of the Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

According to the Dubai Municipality, nighttime bathing times are from sunset to sunrise. He urged bathers to only swim in designated areas at night and avoid submerging in the sea.

The community also stressed the importance of keeping the beach safe, following the rules, ensuring the safety of children, following lifeguard instructions, and maintaining cleanliness at all times.
