Dean Ardornato was arrested Wednesday night after a collision on Interstate 24 at milepost 51 near the Lyon-Caldwell roundabout.
In three cases, he is charged with senseless endangerment of the first degree and possession of weapons by a criminal.
He was taken to the Christian County Jail.

Authorities said the incident closed that part of I-24 for two hours.
Adornato, KSP said, was armed with a pistol.
Just before 9 p.m. Wednesday, KSP received reports of a man walking west with a flashlight on I-24 near mile 51.
Upon arrival, police discovered that the man, later identified as Adornato, was carrying a pistol. He would have fired several times on the ground and in the air.

Authorities said Adornato was arrested after an hour of negotiations.
Ardornato’s car was later found in a side street near the highway, authorities said.
No casualties were reported and police did not fire any weapons, authorities said.

Kentucky State Police Station 1 was assisted on-site by KSP Station 2, Lyon County Sheriff’s Office, Eddyville Police Department, Trigg County Sheriff’s Office, the Lyon County Highway Service, and the Lyon County Medical Emergency Service.
Neither Adornato nor any police unit was injured in the incident, and no weapons were fired by the police.
