Damien Bendall has been charged with the murder of a mother and three children who were killed while staying overnight in Killamarsh last weekend.
The bodies of John Paul Bennett, 13, Lacey Bennett, 11, her mother Terri Harris, 35, and Lacey’s friend Connie Gent, 11, were discovered at a property in Chandos Crescent Sunday morning.
Damien Bendall of Chandos Crescent has been charged with the murder and remains in custody.
He is due to appear before the South Derbyshire Magistrates Court in Derby on Wednesday.

A woman was murdered with her two children, and another child is said to be in the early stages of pregnancy when she died.
Terri Harris, 35, and hers, two of her children, Lacey Bennett, 11, and John Paul Bennett, 13, were found dead with Connie Gent, 11, on Sunday morning in Killamarsh, Derbyshire.
What Was The Neighbors Statement?
A neighbor claimed that Terri told her mother that she was pregnant, but that she could not tell anyone.
He said that Terri spoke to her mother regularly and that they had been ‘friends’ since they moved in a few months ago.
The neighbor said that he did not hear anything during the attack, but said that he heard “fighting and screaming” the night before.
The neighbor said: “She has lived here for a few months.”
“I didn’t hear anything when the attack happened, but there was an argument the night before – they yelled.”
“It’s so heartbreaking because the little kids didn’t do anything wrong.”
“Terri told my mother that she was pregnant, but she couldn’t tell anyone because she was early in the pregnancy.”
“Mom said that she was moving and that she doesn’t get along.”
“As soon as we found a way out, she said that she was done with Killamarsh.”

It occurs when the local murder suspect was named Damien Bendall and he was photographed for the first time.
Derbyshire Police have confirmed that a 31-year-old man believed to be known to the family has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is in pre-trial detention.
