His current age is 32 years.

Murder Of Terri Harris

British authorities have released dramatic footage of the moment a convicted killer confessed to killing his partner and their three children. Damien Bendall admitted to the murders after police were called to an address in Killamarsh, North Derbyshire on September 19, 2021.

At the Chandos Crescent home, officers found the bodies of Bendall’s partner Terri Harris, 35, and their children, John-Paul Bennett, 13, and Lacey Bennett, 11, and Lacey’s close friend, Connie Gent, 11. who stayed the night. for a slumber party.

“Bendall was outside the house and calmly told the two officers they would find four bodies inside,” Derbyshire Police said in a statement on Wednesday.

“Bendall had formed a relationship with Terri in the months leading up to her murder and they lived in Chandos Crescent with John-Paul and Lacey,” it added.

“He was quickly arrested at the scene.”

Jailed

Bendall was sentenced to five life sentences on Wednesday at Derby Crown Court in the English Midlands, about 130 miles north of London, on charges of rape and murder.

“The force and violence used in these attacks show they were carried out with the intent to take the lives of Terri, John-Paul, Lacey and Connie,” Detective Inspector Mark Shaw said in a statement.

“Everyone trusted Bendall because of the nature of their relationship, and he took advantage of that to break that trust and commit terrible acts. Their strength and weapon would have meant they were quickly incapacitated.”

“It’s also impossible for anyone involved to understand the nature of the new attack on Lacey,” Shaw continued.

“The families of each victim have endured more than 15 months of unimaginable agony and fear, but for today at least they will have the assurance that Bendall can do no more harm. As the investigative team, we admire the way the families have acted, whether it was helping the team with our investigations or having to relive events during the trial. I would like to thank you for that.”

DI Shaw added: “My gratitude to everyone involved in this operation for the way they diligently tried to gather evidence and acted in the face of some of the most harrowing circumstances we have seen. While we as law enforcement officers and personnel expect hardship, no one should be faced with such a tragedy.”

In sentencing Bendall, Judge Lord Justice Nigel Sweeney said he would be imprisoned for the rest of his life because “the gravity of his offenses is exceptionally high”.

“You started a relationship with Terri Harris in April 2020. During that time, you were abusive and controlling,” Judge said.

“You used multiple drugs and were violent and unstable. On the afternoon of 18th September, while he was with Terri and their three children, they were under the influence of cocaine and cannabis. You carried out a brutal and vicious attack on a defenseless woman and three children.”
