Two men suspected of murdering Fisher, who was stabbed to death just before midnight on the dance floor at Crane nightclub in Digbeth, have been arrested.

What Were The Details Of An Incident?
Fisher was dancing with friends at The Crane nightclub in Birmingham before midnight on Monday when a group of people approached him and stabbed him. Fisher’s family issued a statement saying his death “broke our hearts.”
On Tuesday, Woodrow First School and Nursery, where Fisher worked as a coach, paid tribute to him on Twitter. “Everyone is devastated to learn of the tragic and needless death of this personable and talented young man,” the post reads.
“Many of the kids know Cody as their athletic coach and love and admire him. Our thoughts are with his family and friends.”
Fisher played for Stratford Town Football Club and Bromsgrove Sporting in his spare time, as well as for Stourbridge. One of Fisher’s friends and former teammates described him to Sky News as “truly one of the nicest people you could meet. I would do anything for you.”
Two Suspects Arrested
Two men suspected of stabbing to death a semi-professional footballer on a UK club’s dance floor during a Boxing Day celebration have been arrested.
West Midlands Police said on Wednesday they arrested a 22-year-old man in Birmingham city center after midnight, while a 21-year-old suspect was arrested more than 185km away in London, the BBC reported. Both are suspected of murder and are being questioned. No reason has been revealed so far.

Police Investigation Report
West Midlands Police Chief Inspector Ian Ingram told reporters investigators were making “good progress” on the case.
“We are pleased with the public response and have already submitted several testimonies and images that will help us in our investigation,” he said.
The fatal stabbing happened at a party in honor of Boxing Day, a public holiday celebrated in Britain and some of its former colonies. The event was headlined by Italian techno DJ Marco Carola.
Several attendees reported that people in the venue seemed to “demand trouble” and described the atmosphere at the club as “moody”.
Fisher’s stabbing came just two days after 26-year-old beautician Elle Edwards was killed in a shooting at a Merseyside pub on Christmas Eve. Since then, two people have been arrested in this case.
