Christiane Louise was a Mercy Overwatch voice actress who was murdered in Brazil. NME spoke on behalf of Mercy in the “Overwatch Brazilian voiceover”, Cortana in the Brazilian series Halo in Brazil and Marge in the Brazilian version of The Simpsons.
Pedro Paulo Gonçalves was arrested in connection with the murder of voice actress Louise.

Brazilian actress Christiane Louise was best known in the gaming community for her voice as Cortana in Halo, Mercy in Overwatch, Hellen Lovejoy in The Simpsons, and Sivir in League of Legends.
Louise died, as per one of her colleagues, on August 6, 2021.
The Brazilian announcer was 49 years old and is said to have been murdered in Rio de Janeiro.
Who Are The Suspects To Be Arrested?
The police arrested Pedro Paulo Gonçalves Vasconcellos da Costa in connection with the murder of Christiane Louise.
Vasconcellos da Costa has admitted to the murder in Rio de Janeiro, but he is said to have acted in self-defense.
It is reported that Vasconcellos da Costa’s motive was to keep the actress’s fortune and legacy after her disappearance.
As per the police report, Christiane Louise was killed with a broken chalice in her apartment.
The suspect reportedly cut off the Brazilian actress’s leg and neck before hiding her body and the suspect reportedly murdered Louise several days before her body was found. The suspect had the help of her mother, Eliane Gonçalves Vasconcellos da Costa, on the spot.
Several of Louise’s belongings have been found at the suspect’s mother’s home, but she is still large.
What Police Have Investigated Up Till Now?
As per the Brazilian police report, the suspect and her mother spent two days with Louise’s body at her home before hiding her body. The body was found by the police 2-3 days after the murder.
In total, Louise died eight days before the news was first reported on Instagram by her colleague Mário Tupinambá Filho.
The case is currently ongoing, so Pedro Paulo Gonçalves Vasconcellos da Costa is a suspect, but he was reportedly defending himself at the time of the attack.
As per the sources close to the two, he and Christiane Louise met at a psychiatric hospital in 2017 and have been friends ever since.
It is currently unclear how Vasconcellos da Costa intended to secure all of Louise’s property and legacy.
