Woman Raped Near Brighton Pavilion Gardens
After the rape in Brighton, the COPS launched a manhunt.
The victim, a woman in her 30s, claimed to have been attacked near Pavilion Gardens.
Officials are interested in speaking with anyone who died Wednesday, between 2:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.
While an investigation is ongoing, the victim is assisted by specialized authorities.
“A full and thorough investigation into this report is ongoing and the victim, whom I would like to thank for coming forward, has our full support,” said Detective Inspector Cheryl Lewendon.
“We understand that incidents like this can be of concern to the public. Therefore, as part of our ongoing work to keep people safe, expect a visible police presence around Pavilion Gardens and Brighton city center.”
